We generate around £250,000 in social value each year through local employment, apprenticeships, work placements, support for veterans and ex-offenders, school careers programmes, local supply chain spending, and funding for community groups and charities.

What is Social Value?

This includes creating local jobs and training opportunities, supporting young people, using local suppliers, working with community organisations, paying the living wage, promoting staff wellbeing and equality, reducing environmental impact, improving health and wellbeing, and maintaining high ethical standards across our business and supply chain.

It creates long-term benefits through employment opportunities, reducing welfare dependency, crime, and pressure on health and care services, while improving wellbeing and community resilience.
