Pilkington Glass, Cowley Hill
The Project
Following the emergence of new technologies and the consolidation of Pilkington’s activities over the past decade, 104 acres of the Cowley Hill Works were purchased by BXB Cowley Hill Ltd. In support of their outline planning application for 1100 homes and 52,000 sq ft of mixed-use space TD supported the generation of a remediation strategy through the provision of insitu and laboratory testing.
What we did
TD Construction Testing Ltd supported the client through the delivery of site and laboratory testing, helping to maintain quality standards and keep the project progressing efficiently. We pride ourselves on not simply working for our clients but working with them so we add wider value to the schemes we operate. Materials were tested in line with the specification for highway works and contract specific appendices including Material Classification, Plate CBR, Insitu Densities etc.
