TD Construction Testing Ltd is the UK’s leading materials testing laboratory for UKAS accredited Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) testing of bitumen.

We achieved an industry first milestone by becoming the ONLY testing laboratory to hold UKAS accreditation for all 3 of these methods:

• Complex Shear Modulus and Phase Angle – BS EN 14770:2023
• T(VET) & G*(VET) – CD227 (E/2) Design for Pavement Maintenance, Version 0.1.0 (September 2025)
• Multiple Stress Creep and Recovery Test (MSCRT) – BS EN 16659:2026
• The results and information obtained from this testing can:
• Support accurate maintenance planning and help determine the most appropriate intervention for aged surfacing
• Assess rutting resistance under varying load conditions
• Support product development, R&D, or project‑specific investigations
